As a proud member of the Minnesota Mosaic Guild, I'm thrilled to announce our upcoming group show, showcasing the incredible variety of work created by our talented artists. This exhibit is a reflection of our diverse perspectives, techniques, and inspirations, with each piece telling a unique story through the timeless art of mosaic.
The show will feature an eclectic range of creations from our members—each bringing their own style, vision, and mastery to the medium. Expect to see bold patterns, intricate designs, and a rich use of color and texture, all presented in captivating mosaics that capture the essence of each artist's creativity.
A Special Surprise: The Old Masters Reimagined
One of the most exciting aspects of this show is our group project, a collaboration of 18 of our artists. Together, we reinterpreted a famous painting by an Old Master, bringing new life to a classical masterpiece through the mosaic art form. This collective effort showcases the power of collaboration, with each artist contributing their unique flair, making this project both a tribute to the past and a statement for the present.
